The Personnel of a Bank Manager ensures that the operations of a bank branch are running effectively, that the customer service in that bank branch is on a very high level, that employees are handled properly, that financial goals are met. This position needs one who is highly knowledgeable about finances and is able to manage stressful moments and come with a lot of leadership skills. Managers in the Bank have a significant part in ensuring that the bank maintains its reputation, adherence to the rules, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the branch day-to-day activities.
- Set an example and exercise control over banking staff, hire them, train hem, evaluate their performance.
- Come up with a strategy to raise deposits, loans and branch profitability.
- Supervise and see these are in conformity of the banking regulations and the policies within it.
- Manage high profile customer claims and address problems in a timely manner.
- Balancing of branch budgets, expenses and financial reports.

Qualifications & Skills Required
Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
- A master or professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, CIMA) are desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
- Good leadership and team managerial skills.
- Great communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Conditioned understanding of the regulation of the banking sphere and the products in the sphere of finance.
- Logical and problem solving ability.
- Business development and sales attitude.
- Very good integrity and professionalism.
- Scholarly skills using banking software, and Microsoft Office applications.
